Introducing Frits
Frits Soetmann, 61, was born in Enschede (1963), Holland, and grew up in Borne. From 1986 he lived in Switzerland until moving to Finland in 2008.
Between 1980 and 1985 he studied marketing, Management and English, which he speaks fluently.
As a multilingual, Frits acts in his native Dutch, and also in Swiss-German, English, and Finnish. His acting career spans over a decade, and since 2014, he has performed in over 60 diverse projects in both the Netherlands and in Finland. Indeed, his performances can be found across film, TV series, commercials, photoshoots and also voice-over work.
He is also a talented artist and scriptwriter.
He spends time with his husband whom he married in 2006, and his beloved 7-year-old Cairn-Terrier. Keeping in shape is also important so fitness; football and running have an important place in his life.

2022 – Max, een band voor het leven
Frits as Henrik Hagreis, in the Dutch movie ”Max, een band voor het leven”.
This is my most memorable role, because it’s a true story which took place in my hometown between 1940 and 1945. All the scenes are shot at the original locations; the homes and farm houses, which still exist today.
